The Systemair AXCBF range of bifurcated medium pressure axial fans has been developed for applications with an atmosphere which would either require special motors or reduce the lifetime of a standard motor. The motors of AXCBF are out of the airstream. Available in sizes from 250 up to 800 mm nominal diameter. AXCBF bifurcated axial fan casings are heavy gauge, hot dip galvanized. The motor compartment allows easy access to the motor terminal box for wiring. Single or three phase B3 foot mounted motors, totally enclosed and fan cooled. Please note: Speed controll by voltage, i.e. voltage transformers, is not possible! In accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) no 640/2009 of the European Parliament - eco-design requirements for electric motors - the new international efficiency classes are binding as of 16 June 2011. These guidelines defined by CEMEP and EPACT are regarded as international standard for energy-saving high-efficiency motors for frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz and make the use of IE2 motors mandatory. With this new and more efficient technology we offer our customers many advantages such as environmentally friendly operation, reduced energy consumption and hence lower emissions. IE2 motors have a higher efficiency even in part load operation and allow optimum adjustment to the operating point. In addition, the IE2 motors generate less noise and develop less heat, which has a positive influence on the efficiency and the cooling requirement of the motor. Please note: IE2 motors cannot be speed controlled by voltage, i.e. voltage transformers.

This calculator is provided as a broad based indication of the energy cost of running a filter based air purification, and an indicative cost of running a Sanuvox system as an alternative. It should not be assumed to be absolutely accurate and should not be used as the basis of an actual system design or forecast of cost saving of an actual system. We accept no liability for consequences of the inappropriate use of this calculator, or its results. Actual figures would depend on the proposed system for a particular application and on the exact parameters of that application.
