Typically installed above a doorway, they provide a constant stream of heated air across an opening. Engineered to lose only a tiny portion of the heated air flow to outside, the vast majority of the heated air is retained inside. With varying levels of controls and sensing to trigger their operation modern electrically heated air curtains are very energy efficient.
