The following is information about our company, the way we operate and our trading terms. By using this site, you agree to these trading terms. If you do not agree to these trading terms, you may not use this site. Adremit Ltd. reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these trading terms, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on subsequent visits. Customers ordering on line are required to agree to our trading terms in the checkout process. Customers ordering by phone or email will by implication be deemed to have agreed to our trading terms.  Adremit reserves the right to not be bound by our customers standard procurement terms. 


This is a trading website belonging to Adremit Limited. Adremit was founded in 2003 (Company registration number 4737680) as specialists in indoor environmental improvement.


What we supply. We do not have the largest range of products on the web, nor are we always the cheapest. However, in contrast to many our competitors, we do know and understand the products that we supply and can make constructive & knowledgeable product recommendations to match particular customer requirements. Some products are listed on the site but not available to buy on line because they are sufficiently complex to require our specialist knowledge to ensure that the most appropriate solution is quoted. Whatever the product and whatever the application, we ensure that we are in a position to offer bespoke assistance to customers, either by phone, email, or in person.

How we supply.  We aim to make it quick and easy to use this site. The website is designed to be clear and easy to use. Our pricing is transparent; all our prices on this website include UK deliver and VAT, so that there are no ‘surprises’ at the checkout. The products we supply are mostly held in centralised warehouses or in the product manufacturers stock holding facilities. In both cases we generally ensure that your order is delivered to you within your reasonable expectations.


We offer help and advice to our customers regarding product selection. However, it is our customers responsibility to check that they are purchasing suitable products for their application. Our advice is not a guarentee of suitability.

If you are interested to order several products, please email or telephone us with your enquiry. Dependant on the product range, we can usually offer generous discounts according to numbers required. We actually sell a wider range of products than is listed on the website and can help you source and select the most suitable equipment for your application.


We generally price our products inclusive of UK mainland delivery, subject to a £75 minimum order value. Orders for delivery to UK mainland that are below this value will have a £10 delivery charge added.Where delivery beyond UK mainland is required or if delivery is required time guaranteed or outside normal working hours, we can normally offer this at an additional charge. Contact our office.Where goods are to be brought into UK from overseas, specific to order, a carriage charge may be notified at the quotation stage, and added when ordered.


1. Order and payment on line

Click ‘add to basket’, and enter you details when prompted. You can then pay using credit or debit card, where you are automatically transferred to a secure website run by our payment service provider, Handepay.

2. Order and payment by phone

Simply phone us on 0845 688 0112, with details of your order and payment card details. We then process your order and take payment using the Handepay service. Your payment card details are shredded immediately after successful payment. We do not hold payment card records.

3. Proforma orders

Within our websites’ checkout page there is a ‘Bank Transfer Payment’ option in the payment information section. By selecting this option you will be sent a proforma invoice by email.

By phone or email
Order placement by phone or email can be on a proforma basis, in which case we will enter your order details and send you a proforma invoice by email.

4. Payment

We accept payment using the following methods;

Proforma invoices have our bank details to enable payments by bank transfer (BACs or CHAPs)


We use a secure 128 bit on line payment service provider, Handepay. To date we have not had any experiences of credit card fraud with this system. For on line payments we do not see or store your payment card details. Current information about Handipay payment security, security accreditations and certificates can be viewed on the Handeay payment page, or by visiting their site . Handepay maintain PCI DSS compliance. PCI DSS complaince is reviewed and revalidated on an annual basis.


Our published prices include VAT, which will appear itemized on your receipted invoice. EU based customers outside of the UK can purchase from us VAT free by phone, provided they can supply their valid VAT number. Customers outside the EU can phone us to order VAT free. Online orders are accepted when your payment from you payment card is processed. Orders by post with a cheque will be accepted on cheque clearance.
Orders on a proforma basis are accepted on receipt of payment. Orders placed on a proforma basis will be canceled in the event of the proforma invoice remaining unpaid for 30 days from the proforma invoice date.
Any email or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email. Payment, and therefore acceptance of online transactions is almost instant. Adremit therefore reserves the right to cancel orders or part of an order where either there is a stock shortage or there is suspected fraudulent use of a payment card. In such cases we will contact you by phone or email to inform you and make additional checks as necessary.  In the event of our not being able to fulfill an order due to stock shortage we can either offer an alternative or cancel and refund the order value to the payment card. All specifications are approximate only and Adremit shall have no liability in respect of any deviation therefrom. Placement of an order does not guarantee stock allocation. Stock is only allocated once payment has been received.


Delivery expectation is noted with each product. If there is a stock issue that will delay delivery, we will notify you with a revised delivery expectation within 5 working days of payment, and also offer the option to cancel the order. If you require delivery on a particular day, call us and we will try to accommodate you requirements. Where we provide an expected delivery date for an order, this is based on our best information at that time and is not guaranteed.
The delivery of goods to you is deemed to be a separate contract for services, distinct from your contract to purchase the goods. Delivery may be effected in one or more instalments. Delivery of larger items like air cleaners or heaters may be direct from the manufacturer or stock holder. Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. You agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery and notify us of any damage within 7 days of the delivery. If we are not notified of damage within 7 days we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 7 days.

Important. We recommend that any arrangements for fitting the products should be made after they have been delivered and checked for damage.

Without prejudice to the statutory rights afforded to consumers under English law, Adremit Ltd. accepts no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from its inability to do so resulting from acts of god, civil commotion, riots, flood, draught, fire, legislation or other factors outside its control, or its decision on reasonable grounds not to do so for reasons of suspicion of credit card fraud or similar, provided that it takes all reasonable steps to notify you within fourteen (14) days of order placement that products will not be shipped as ordered. In such cases Adremit Ltd. will not process any payment or will immediately refund any payment made, in full. It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from Adremit Ltd. with sufficient lead time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from such non-shipment.


In the unlikely event that we supply you with faulty goods, then we will refund the cost of the goods any delivery charge and the cost of returning the goods to us. If, on the products return, it is found that the fault is due to customer misuse or abuse then the obligation to refund will not apply.  Your Statutory Rights are Not Affected.


The durable products  (e.g. air cleaners, air conditioners, heaters, dehumidifiers etc.) sold by Adremit Ltd. via this site and otherwise, are generally covered by a 1 year (from date of delivery) manufacturers warranty. On some products the warranty is longer. Warranty period is specified for each product. The exact details of the warranty vary depending on the product concerned and the manufacturer and/or importer. The warranties require that the end user is responsible for the return of the product to a repair centre in order for it to be inspected, tested and repaired. Consumable products (e.g. filters used in air cleaners) are not covered by any warranty. Claims under the warranty should be addressed in the first instance to Adremit Ltd.


Adremit Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy. Adremit Limited will never sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. No credit card information is retained beyond the order payment transaction. We are registered under the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998. From 25th May 2018 we adhere to the requirements of The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/67.  In accordance with these acts we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. If you have any questions or concerns about privacy please email us using the button at the top of the page.


Business to Consumer Sales.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, UK consumers have the right to cancel their order within a “cooling off period” which lasts 7 days from the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of an email or letter and sent to our address above. If you cancel your order under these provisions then you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in good condition or alternatively you will be responsible for our costs in recovering the goods. You must make sure the goods remain undamaged, unused, in the original packing and suitable for restocking and resale as new. We will refund the order value less the cost of restocking and the cost of the original order delivery. The standard cancelled order refund deduction (even where a delivery price is not identified as part of the price; i.e. free delivery), shall be 15% of the order value. We reserve the right to increase this percentage deduction from the refund if the returned goods are not in the original packing, damaged, scratched, incomplete or other wise unfit for sale as new.

Business to Business Sales. 
The above mentioned order cancellation provision, provided for under the terms of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, does not apply to Business to Business transactions. The ‘to Business’ means all non consumer sales, including those to organisations, companies, charities, traders, and other non commercial organisations. In the event of an order being delivered ‘to Business’ customers, there is no right of return if the product is no longer required. Our help and assistance is discretionary and based on the willing cooperation of the stockholder company from which the product was dispatched. We generally back to back any restocking arrangement terms we get from the stockholder.


Adremit Ltd shall have no liability to reimburse any customer other than any refund for products sold to that customer. Our liability to our customers does not in any event include losses related to any business of the customer, such as loss of profits, business interruption or costs of 3rd party contracted services. Total liability to the customer in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with this agreement shall not exceed the price of the order.


This site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third party vendors and other third parties (the “external sites”). Adremit Ltd. is not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any external site, nor for any transactions between you and such sites (including as to ‘cookies’, personal data, confidential information, or purchases of goods or services). You should contact the site administrator or webmaster for those external sites if you have any concerns regarding such links, content or transactions.


In the event that there is a pricing error on the website then Adremit Ltd. will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.


All rights in the site design, text, graphics and other content, interfaces, and the selection and arrangements thereof belong to Adremit Ltd. or its licensors. All rights are reserved save as set out below. Permission is granted to electronically copy and to print hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Adremit Ltd. or using this site as a shopping resource. Any other use of materials on this site, including reproduction for purposes other than those noted above, modification, distribution, or republication is strictly prohibited


Adremit Limited is committed to recycling. We currently recycle 98% of the cardboard packing that comes into our business as packing that goes out of our business. We have also subscribed to a Distributor Take Back Scheme authorised under the current Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.
