Ultra violet light is very effective at ethylene removal and can provide a very effective and low cost system for fruit or vegetable storage facilities.
UVC coil cleaners are designed to prevent and destroy mould and other microbial contaminants on cooling coils.
In humid conditions when condensation forms on cooling coils, biomass can form. This mould and slime can release biological contamination into the air stream. It also increases the pressure drop over the coils and reduces their heat transfer efficiency. Our UVC coil cleaners consist of high intensity UVC (254 nm)lamps and high output electronic ballasts paired with anodized aluminium parabolic reflectors. They ensure that the coil is basked in germicidal UV light. The light from the coil cleaners makes the formation of biomass impossible, maintains the low pressure drop of the coil and its thermal efficiency. UVC coil cleaners are incredibly effective.
Puravent’s range of HVAC coil cleaners is based those by Canadian manufacturer, Sanuvox. If we know the size of the coil in your air handling unit we can assist by selecting a suitable UVC coil cleaner product and mathematically modelling its efficiency in your application. If you require any assistance, please call us on 01729 924108 to discuss your requirements.
Average The Room Is A Normal Residential Room, Office, Reception Area Or Similar, Where There Is Not Overly Crowded With People, Computer And Office Equipment.
Above Average There Are Factors That Contribute To Additional Heat Being Generated In The Room E.G. Strong Lighting, Overcrowding With People And Office Equipment, Conservatory Type Room, Or Flat Roofed Room.
High There Are Factors That Contribute To A High Heat Load In The Room. E.G. Commercial Cooking, Much Computer And Server Equipment, Switchgear, Temporary Building With Thin Walls And Flat Room, Plain Glass Conservatory.

This calculator is provided as a broad based indication of the energy cost of running a filter based air purification, and an indicative cost of running a Sanuvox system as an alternative. It should not be assumed to be absolutely accurate and should not be used as the basis of an actual system design or forecast of cost saving of an actual system. We accept no liability for consequences of the inappropriate use of this calculator, or its results. Actual figures would depend on the proposed system for a particular application and on the exact parameters of that application.
