KC/F1 heaters are designed for installation in hazardous areas where potentially explosive gases may be present. These heaters are suitable for both Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas and are approved for gas groups 11A and 11B. It is important to note that these heaters must be mounted horizontally and operated in environments where the ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C.

The heaters is stamped with the T3 designation can be installed in areas designated as T3, T2, or T1. Similarly, heaters stamped with the T4 designation can be installed in areas designated as T4, T3, T2, or T1. This flexibility allows for their use in a variety of applications, including paint stores and petrochemical installations.

One of the key advantages of the KC/F1 heaters is their tough and compact construction, which makes them particularly suitable for installations where space is limited. The heaters feature an ATEX certification, ensuring their compliance with safety standards. Additionally, they come with a 2mm thick epoxy coated steel cabinet with a galvanized steel rear panel, providing durability and protection.

Other notable features of these heaters include a sloped top to prevent objects from obstructing the air outlet, and a built-in externally adjustable thermostat. For added convenience, an ATEX approved wall mounted EExd thermostat (ref. KEX-1) is also available as an option.
