Generally, Air Purifiers are designed to purify air at a molecular level and some are specifically germicidal and used for deactivating viruses, spores and bacteria. Our range of industrial air purifiers includes in-duct models, room sterilisers, deodourisers, coil cleaners and ducted air purifiers.
In contrast, Air Cleaners are designed to remove particles and droplets from air. They either do this by passing the air through air filters or they use ionisers and charged plates to collect the contaminants. Air cleaners are available as small portable machines for offices or homes, right up to large installed industrial units more suited to dusty warehouses.
There is a wide range of commercial air cleaners available including electrostatic air cleaners, oil mist collectors, and filter based machines. We supply to air cleaner brands including Trion, Record, Trotec, StaticAir and Aircube.
