Description

Sinus-B wall diffuser. The Sinus-BR (rear connection) and BS (side connection) consist of a front plate with a number of nozzles, together with a plenum box with adjustment damper and a rubber seal tested for air-tightness . The front plate is easy to remove. The nozzles enable the diffuser to achieve very high induction of room air. The wall diffuser can be used for both, cooled and heated air. Maximum temperature difference: for cooled air dT 12 K. The nozzles can be individually set at any angle within 360°, which means that an unlimited number of distribution patterns can be set without affecting noise levels, air volume or pressure drop. The nozzles’ rounded edges prevent dust from settling and facilitate cleaning.

Design

The Sinus-B wall diffuser consists of a supply-air element (the front plate) manufactured from galvanized sheet metal with a white powder-coated finish (RAL 9010-30). The front plate is perforated and is fitted with white nozzles. The nozzles are made from recyclable ABS with a diameter of 35mm, and are finished in standard white which matches RAL 9010-80. The plenum box is made from galvanized sheet metal and is fitted with an adjustment damper. It is available with either a rear or a side connection for a duct diameter ø 100-200. Note that the front plate and the plenum box can be ordered separately. This device can be used for extract air.

Mounting

A recess must be made in the wall in accordance with the dimension table and drawings. The plenum box is positioned in the recess with the short sides flush or a maximum of 62 mm into the wall. The front plate is separated from the frame by pushing it upwards. The frame is pushed into the plenum box and is fixed with screws on the short sides into the plenum box and into the wall construction. The front plate is mounted onto the frame by guiding the top edge into the frame, then bending the bottom edge inwards and then pressing downwards.
