We can specify and propose an engineered solution which involves Sanuvox ultraviolet air purification equipment and, where required, a prefiltration system.13/05/21

By ventilation, we mean the replacement of stale, and possible contaminated, air with fresh air from outside the building. Although Covid-19 is the current issue, it is the same with any airborne viral contaminant. The air in the building is a potential conduit for infection from the infected to th06/04/21

The task of sourcing commercial in-duct UV-C air purification equipment for the first time can be bewildering. There is a wide array of options for what is a complex technology to treat an airborne problem that you cannot see but which you know will be there.12/03/21

The headlines come round with a depressing and monotonous regularity. Canceled voyages, destroyed holidays, ships confined to port or not allowed into port, passengers confined to cabins.11/03/21
UVC in-duct air purifiers are the most cost effective way to purify large airflows in ducting. Puravent are the UK distributor for Sanuvox who manufacture the Biowall range of UVC in-duct air purifiers. These air puriufiers are suspended in the duct with the lamps alined with the direction of airflow. This design helps ensure relatively long exposure to very high intensity UVC light very which results in predictable and very high distruction efficiencies.
The Biowall UVC in-duct air purifier system from Sanuvox provides a “barrier wall” of UVC Energy destroying biological contaminants passing through it. Each Biowall has 5 high intensity 19mm UVC lamps in parabolic reflectors to deliver 360° of UVC germicidal radiation to the airflow.
Biowall UVC in-duct air purifier are a ‘specified’ product range. This means that the size, number and arrangement of Biowall is specified to suit each application using Sanuvox mathcad modelling program.
This mathcad modelling process requires us to know airflow, temperature, duct size, duct material, and the specific target contaminants. Only with this level of information can we calculate accurately state the efficiency of the UVC in-duct air purifier in your application against your target micro organism challange (e.g. covid-19, H5N1 Flu, Tuberculosis bacilli…etc.) for first pass and for successive passes over the Biowall installation. This specification process means that each Biowall has mathematically demonstrable efficiency that is unique to its application.
