Fitting Instructions

Where is the pollen filter?
passenger side under plastic cover at the base of the windscreen
Time to change - approx. 10 minutes

How Easy to change - straight forward
Tools Needed?
flat (plain slot) screwdriver or screwbit
|
Fitting Stage 1:-
Operate the windscreen wipers and switch of the ignition when they are in the vertical position. Remove the passenger side wiper having first marked the tip position on the windscreen with a crayon or similar. Fitting Stage 2:-
Remove the soft rubber profile strip that is clipped onto the top of the engine bay bulkhead. Unscrew the three clips holding on the plastic cover. Lift out the cover. Unclip and remove the old filter. Wipe clean the inside of the filter housing. Fitting Stage 3:-
Insert new Puravent filter, ensuring that the AIRFLOW ARROWS point down. Refit the plastic cover and the soft rubber profile strip. Refit the windscreen wiper. |
