Why a Puravent Upgrade Pollen Filter?
Each Upgrade Pollen Filter has four layers:-
A. Prefilter This is the first layer that
the air meets and it is where the largest
particles are captured.
B. Secondary This layer consists of
electrostatically charged synthetic fibres that
attract and trap the smaller dust particles.
C. Carbon This layer has activated carbon
granules that are about the size of sugar
granules. A teaspoon of this carbon has a surface
area roughly equivalent to a football pitch. (taking into
consideration the internal surface of the pores)
D. Backing This layer is made of course
synthetic fibres to add strength to the filter.
