Radiant heaters use various heat emission technologies and output power ratings. This gives rise to surface temperature of the fitting and differing distances of safe heat throw. It means that each fixed radiant heater model has a recommended height range at which it should be mounted, both to provide safe heating at the lower height in the range and also effective heating at the highest height in its range.
